Motor runs good in neutral but stalls when put in gear. Any suggestions?

Redid the carbs about a month ago. First chance to try it under a load. Everything is syncted together. Gonna look for possible air intrusion in fuel lines and connectors.

sounds like carbs to me, but have you checked compression and spark since the problem started?
Compression and spark good. Fires right up and idles good .Put it in gear and shuts down. Gonna start at tank and work backwards.

After you’ve checked some obvious stuff, pull the carb and run a fine copper wire through the main jet. You’re describing something that is a symptom of a plugged main jet but like you said, it could be other stuff. Just because you did the carb recently doesn’t necessarily mean anything, esp. if you are using ethanol gas. It’s real easy for a piece of corroded fuel hose to tear loose and plug your jets.

Carbs good, spark good, compression good. I had a engine that started shutting down during shift. I happened to notice (just by chance) that the tack would drop to zero very briefly before it shut down. Solution/answer: bad ground wire.
Fuel in tank only 2 weeks. New hose,primer bulb and connectors. Thanks for the wire tip. Will check all wires also. No hesitation,put in gear and dies right away.

did you actually do a compression test and spark check, or are you assuming its good, because it starts and idles in neutral?
after spark and compression are verified, then go to a drop cylinder test.
with engine running, pull one spark plug wire at a time, and listen for change in engine performance
