Very nice fish, those fellas had a lot more fun than the rest of us,know that.
Those of you who were referring to the boat as a “sick” one, just what type of ride do you have that will get you out there?
The hard tops on those boats are capable of holding two adults. They are not your regular T-top.
I think “sick” is good in their context…

I say 325. Personally I dont think any billfish should be killed any longer. The responsible thing to do today is to switch to all release tournaments and no I am not sorry that I opened the age old can of worms again. Gawking at fish on the docks is stupid in this day and age. The same interest can be generated in tournaments as is today without having to hang fish.
Yes…“sick” is obviously used in a good way when refering to a 30’ whaler. I assumed that was implied. FTR - the ride I catch offshore is usually on a 26 Scout which also has a “beefy” top on it. “Beefy” I am using in the sense of “sturdy construction”…not that it is made of cow flesh. Even when I climb up there though it doesn’t look as high as the pics in this thread. So, in sumation…I appologize to the owner, crew or frequent guests of said 30’ Whaler if by my use of the term “sick” any of you were offended. I meant “swell” but not like an “ocean swell”. “Swell” as in “groovey” but not “groovey” as in I want to disco dance on it. Oh geezus man…it’s a very nice boat sir and/or ma’am. I would not only give my left one for that boat but I’ll throw in my right one too.
Everyone is destined for greatness…it’s up to you to figure out what you’re great at.
Came back to the dock after fighting for 2.5 hours. No Tuna.
