6lb Trout

Along with countless numbers of redfish. Even had a couple of tournament fish that we released to catch again. Mud minnows on the bottom was the key bait for us. Water temps were in the low 50’s with overcast skies and “patchy drizzle” around us all morning. Great way to end 2014.

Thats a fatty! Did you measure the length? Me and a friend were talking about our biggest trout at 21.5" each and what it weighed but neither had scales at the time

A 21.5" would weigh +/- 3 lbs depending on the egg content (a really good fish too)

Nice trout!!

27" is an under estimate. At least 30".

ARE YOU FISHING TOURNAMENTS IN 2015?

I treat every charter like a tournament. I win different amounts every day.

A 25" fish is about 5 lbs +/-. I caught a 25" several years ago that was all spawned out (= snake) that went 4.5 lbs
