Spring is here!
Finally!
That means:
Spring break
Spring cleaning
Spring flowers
and
the 6th Annual Georgetown Meat Fish Tournament!
This year’s tournament is scheduled for May 2-3 at Georgetown Landing Marina. Boats may fish out of Charleston, Georgetown and Murrells Inlet. Crazy Sister’s Marina will serve as an official weigh station for the Murrells Inlet boats as well.
The tournament is the biggest little tournament on the SC coast and we hope you will all join us in supporting Kids’ Chance of South Carolina while enjoying a great day on the water!
Registrations will be accepted at Georgetown Landing Marina through Friday, May 2nd at 6 pm. Captain’s choice of two days or you can fish both days with different crews.
THE FISH ARE HERE!!! Nauti Girl ventured out yesterday and finished the day with 13 tuna, 10 dolphin and a wahoo.
We hope you will join us next weekend, May 2-3, for the 6th Annual Meat Fish Tournament. The fish are chewing so there’s no better time to fish a tournament and get a $200 tax deduction for your registration fee. Proceeds from the tournament will go to Kids’ Chance of South Carolina, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to dependents of South Carolina workers who have been seriously injured or killed in a work-related accident.
Registrations will be taken at Georgetown Landing Marina through 6 pm on May 1st.
We hope to see you all there!

The forecast is looking great for the Meat Fish Tournament this weekend. For those of you who watch NOAA, you might be a little scared right now. However, Sail Flow is a much better source and promises good weather and smooth seas. Check it out at http://old.sailflow.com/windandwhere.iws?regionID=111®ionProductID=30&timeoffset=0.
Remember, registrations are accepted at Georgetown Landing Marina through tomorrow, May 1st at 6 pm. A captain’s meeting will be held at Georgetown Landing Marina at 6 pm tomorrow. Don’t miss out on this great tournament!
