Thought I was going to make it this year but we have a soccer (yes I said soccer) tournament that weekend. Wouldn’t mind getting a shirt if you have any left over. Ya’ll have fun.

Are youth anglers required to pay $40 to fish the tournament too? My three year old’s piggy bank might be a little shy of that.

Kids are only $25…
I don’t want to be in a position of having the only kid fishing in a tournament I “run” where there is a specific kids prize…doesn’t seem right. If it stays this way, then we need to find a kid who needs it more than Taylor. Any suggestions or recommendations of a kid who would walk barefoot over oyster shells to get to a redfish? Better yet, do we know of a veteran with a child who likes to fish? Doesn’t need to be a member of cf.com either.

I’m with you Roger…if my adoption papers fall through then I agree we should do something else with the CF Youth Award…but if Hoof’s kid ends up fishing it then it is the same as last year with Taylor and DFreedom’s son and I say let it stand…come on Hoof, what say ye?
