I’d also like to give a ‘tip of the hat’ to Ken Bergmann aka “Nikonjedi” for the hard work he has done over the years with this tournament. This was the first tournament I ever participated in, and I am hoping that we can continue it with the same success as he had all those years. My kayak is always at your disposal, sir…
Well, I was planning to go but my camping/surf fishing weekend is that same weekend this year! Good luck to everyone participating – everyone should turn over a digital copy of their photo so we can have a thread on here with all entries! Or, hopefully people will post them on the facebook event page. Either way, I look forward to seeing the results! I might drag the kayak out to the campsite and play along just for fun, since I won’t be able to make it to the weigh in.

Yes, we’re doing it during the Captain’s Meeting - bring a new tackle item (hooks, lures, plastics, etc) to put into the “Best Dang Tackle Box” - you’ll get a ticket for each item you contribute…winner will be drawn and win all the items.
