Fished with David Yates yesterday. King bite was ON. We immediately caught a handful on live bait with the best fish being well over 30 pounds.
Next we moved the ledge for some groceries. It was a sloooow start.
Lost a gaffer dolphin at the boat (my bad). We were pleasantly surprised to have a blue rock the down rigger and jump for us…about a four second hook up.
Finally got into some peanut dolphin and threw a few in the box. Next hook up was a triple on Cuda. We released all at the boat and called it a day.
Great day on the water. Only saw three boats all day. Seas were fairly calm. Awesome day with the family.
