7/1 jordan and I got a lift from pat, his lovely wife hanna and their mate chris aboard the Honey Dew This for a day of fis/div. stayed within sight of the bridge 1n 65"water and did pertty good. took about a hour and a half to fill our 5 man limit of good bsb’s and some of the biggest triggers I have seen. made two dives and shot 4 good gags, three out of the same hole! knocked down a few more triggers and other bottom dwellers. viz was only about 15’ but the o cean was flat all day and we had a great time with pat and his crew.
7/2 went out with capt jimmy aboard sea dog with auggie dog, mike and ben who drove down from rock hill to dive with us, fishing was a little slow but managed to fill 2 baskets with nice big bsb’s all over 15", beelinners triggers and a bunch of pinks! made three dives and didn’t see any shooter grouper but did manage a flounder, a cuberra snapper.and 11 lobster. viz was poor and the current was rippin on our 3rd dive all out in 90’. water was great and found a new dive buddy, energetic and enthusiastic and will bea reg.
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
