Dove off the Never Satisfied with Vic from Lowcountry scuba.
Ended up with 7 Lobsters, 3 gags, and assorted scamps, hogs, sheepshead, and mangroves. We weren’t too excited to jump in after “Fishin Mission” told us about the big hammerhead circling their boat. Strong themocline at about 40-50 feet. Vis is about 35 feet or so. One Gag grouper was holed up in a crack. when i shot and dug him out i found out why. There was a big commercial circle hook and about 5 feet of line tangled up in the rocks. Really nice weather, Great day to be on the ocean.

Your shot placement is starting to get a little flaky. Do you want me to show you how to shoot a gag the proper way? Also, hammerheads are not to fear… They are for riding… Just jump on their back, grab the dorsal, and hang on for 8 seconds…
That mid body shot was the one that was holed up. only shot i had. Skinny I’ve seen you ride some Sea Donkeys back in the day but never a hammerhead.

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.
