Sucks when all you catch are giant ARS, vented and released an insane number of them. I switched to double hook rig with sqid for bsb and triggers, then I start catching ARS two at a time. And this was the grouper hole we decided to try, pffft.
I’m tired of catching them…never thought I’d say that.
Is there some inside joke about the face thing I’m missing?

How far offshore do you have to go to catch something like that? Gulf Stream? Just curious.

I would say usually 35+ miles but sometimes they’re found closer. So no, you don’t have to go to Gulfstream. However, you would have to travel probably 500+ miles to actually keep one of those legally.
