Took a 130 degree heading out on a beautiful ocean. Stayed in 250’-350’ the whole day. Small schools of scattered bait and battled patch weed for a good bit of the day.
Caught a dozen mauis, a wahoo, and jumped off a large sail. Three of the dolphin had shoulders and the rest were slingers. Pics to follow.
We were running double dredges off the downriggers Sat, but I do run planers off them. Great way to do it…and I would reccomend heavy braid on the downrigger, it makes things even easier.
