Wes,

I think I speak for many of us when I say the Mojo Chronicles have lifted all of us up at some point during your adventure. The hard part’s done now; congratulations, and enjoy her every chance you get.

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

Awesome boat (I really like the color), pics and story. Your points about money vs lost time are spot on and well said. I value time way more than money. Funny how that happens as we get older…

I’ve always told my wife that boats & fishing…yep, its expensive - maybe it can’t be justified sometimes. But, I’m making memories with my kids, my family/brothers and my buddies…that’s way more valuable in my mind than the money spent.

Case in point: People tell me that the offshore trip we took back in June where we caught/released a really nice blue marlin is a “once in a lifetime” trip…how about a big fat NO!. That’s way too much fun to just do once! That’s the second one @ 500lbs we’ve caught and there’s going to be more if I have to eat peanut butter for lunch every day for a year!! It’s my son’s turn at the rod on the next blue and I’m going to try and make that happen.

MAKING MEMORIES…that’s what its all about!

Phin,
The boat looks incredible, and I can’t wait to see it in Murrells! I hope you are as happy with the suzuki as I am with mine! I’m very eager to see the performance after you get everything tuned in!

That was a great read. Take it from someone who builds and restores boats for a living, I appreciate what it takes to complete that project. When I give people a price on a big job like that, their eyes usually bug out. Many people start restorations and builds, but few people finish them, and almost none to the level and quality you did. It takes blood, sweat, tears, perseverance and a lot of knowledge and experience to do that. Beer Cheers to you. Well done :sunglasses:

Fantastic Phin. It’s amazing to look at that boat, and think back to the pictures of you starting this project. The hard work and dedication truly comes through in these pictures! Well done for sure. Here’s hoping she gives you many years of smooth rides and tons of fish.

Great story and job on rebuilding your boat. I can relate with your time and expenses, I just rebuilt and finished an old lobster/crabboat 1988 Down easter named it WTF.(W here’s T he F ish). I know you’ll be proud and enjoy your boat as much as I have mine. Hope to c you on the big pond. Oh yea nice catch. If more people built one they would appreciate the cost.

W here’s T he F ish

Nice…I could never do that. I can barely maintain my boat.

Thanks for allowing us to tag along for the ride. I don’t think money
could have bought the quality you put into this boat and most importantly you finished what you started. Wish you many good trips
with this boat.
