Got on the water early and headed straight to the spot I was hoping to find a bunch of fish after finding them there yesterday. A few small knock downs, but nothing. Moved around some and marked a few fish, but couldn’t find any numbers of fish. Wound up one 19" fish away from a total skunk.

Picked up bait after you did (SS)and saw a nice cooler of stripers on Richards boat. Headed out with high expectations. Picked up an 18" lip hooked so I set it free, kept checking humps, and marking fish, but had a lot of short hits. Picked up two 16" gut hooked, for lunch and called it a day at 11. Looks like we need to get someone to show us how to catch fish.
I heard Mark is back in town. Maybe we can follow him around one morning.
