hit one of my favorite (most convenient) walk in spots and was immediately greeted with a 1/2 dozen tails coming over the bank. caught 3 within 30 minutes then pulled a hook on a 4th fish. Saw another dozen or so while hooked up and wished I had a friend there to cast at em. All 3 were around 25’ to 26’.
Fished yesterday morning on a different flat saw 6 fish landed 2. Both were a bit smaller though.
After a slow June it seems like the tails are showing up again in better numbers.
Was using a golden crab fly.

Shevlin, good job…was this the flat we ended up walking together last summer? Not going to give it away, just trying to figure out a game plan for the next set since my schedule has kept me in the upstate so far this year.
