Went sheepshead fishing Saturday morning and I had to fight just to get this little guy. It was fun while it lasted. Too bad he wasn’t keeping size. After that I went and target me some whiting and they kept me busy Saturday and Sunday. Learned a few tricks about the whiting also and used the info you guys gave me also. Met a bunch of friendly people on the water this weekend…
Looks like you found em! Nice work!

Iktr barbawang. I might try and get down there again this weekend. I wanna let everyone know Barbawang is a good guy. Met him and Matt a few years ago and they taught me everything about the coastal waters from Shrimping to the Jetties to fishing Folly River to Navigating thru the rivers. Good people on this site.

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Appreciate it Gail winds. Honestly I about got them found and plotted now. Every time I come down to the coast I make it my business to go out and search and try to chart there areas out. Then this weekend past talk to some guys that had just got out the water to and they was like we did pretty good and told me how many they caught and gave me the pinpoint location and it was my all time hot spot I been going. So I was like dang I aint the only one that’s been studying, lmbo… Honestly I caught well over 60 but of course threw a lot back… Heard of another spot that holds big ones. I wanna go find that spot next…
Thanks for the good words Torrey, always fun on the water with ya. I bet the folks at home are happy when you tell them it’s time to fry!
Yes sir. I always try and bring some back for some that don’t get to experience the saltwater world. but you know I love my whiting, grits, sausage and eggs. Ready to make that trip out there to the Jetties on a good day.
