70 2-stroke yamaha with intermittent issue

On vacation in Sarasota and I have an 01 2 stroke yamaha (70tlry). Ran great yesterday until on the way back at 3/4 throttle it felt like it dropped a cylinder. Turned it off, and then back on and it ran fine, until we got to the dock. Couldn’t get the motor to crank back up. Got it to the house after a five minute drive and the motor cranked back up but still would bounce back and forth from running fine and like crap. I did a drop cylinder test and seems like the 3rd cylinder is intermittently losing spark. I only have a volt/ohm meter here, how do I check the coil? Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Plugs were replaced 6 months ago along with a new battery and it hasn’t been ran much since then. Ran like a champ before I brought it done.

carbs would be my guess

I’m now at www.teamcharlestonmarine.com

Carbs were rebuilt not to long ago. I pulled all three coils to clean the connection and test them with an ohm meter. Two of them had the same amount of resistance but the third was closed. Hopefully we will have a working one here tomorrow to try out.
