Justed started offshore fishing and learning as I go. Fri went slow trolling out from Chas 60 and caught 2 Kings, a 42lbs and a 20lbs. Went yesterday to the same place and caught two smaller kings and a cobia. If anyone has any tips they would like to share they would be greatly appriciated.
For “just started” it sounds like you are doing pretty good to me. Perhaps you can give some of your own tips…Good report, keep it up.
reelly…
Well I just bought a boat from a king fisher in NC and he told me everything he knows. He also gave me alot of his tackle. Other than that don’t know much more.
42 lber is right stout for a east coast kingfish!

What he said !!!
OVER BUDGET
So a 42 pound king is a rarity in SC waters? I should have mounted that one then. He pulled like a mule but gaffed him after 39mins. If I knew more about computers I would put his pic on here to show off. It must have been first timers luck for such a big one. I also could have won the tourney with him I guess. Should start entering the tournaments and win some money.
2450, were are you from? You sound as computer stupid as I am, I cant put pictures on this blasted thing too.Hell we may be in the same gene pool.( born before 1960 )HaHa Nice report. have a nice week.
