I went 1-5. I hooked 4 straight fish only to pull the hook. I am not sure if they are not liking the toad as much or if i was keeping the line to tight and not allowing them to get it in there mouth good. I may try and change up the fly this week. There were fish every where up until about 30 mintutes before high tide and then someone pulled the plug. When I was fighting the fish that I landed, I could see 4 other fish within 150’. by the time I landed the fish and was ready again, I did not see another tail all night.
Big storms out tonight. There was a nice show that went over Hilton Head and just missed me. pretty cool to watch from a far.
