Left out of Gtown and headed off for a sword. Stopped on the break to catch a few grouper for dinner then headed out to B’Valley and started drifting with the current. Not a hit all night. On the ride in the am ran across a large school of Yellowfins, they were jumping everywhere but would not bite. Stopped in 800’ of water and caught some snowies, tilefish and blackbellied rosefish. Fished back upto 120’ and picked up a few more bottom fish. Then got boarded by the Coast Guard 33nm offshore. They gave me my gold slip and we were on our way home.
Would love to see the yellowfin in charleston
