Beautiful slick ocean. Got out late but rested. Started trolling straight out from jetties in 140 feet. Had a crimp break on a jumping kinghoo around 140 feet and then the cudas laid in. Trolled across ledge out to 210’ with no strikes so came back to the inside. Had a sailfish come up on mr pink midday at about 145’ on shortrigger right by the dredge but he took the bait and left me with sailfish wood. I’m sure the drop back was anything but textbook. After a quad cuda knock down and then triple cuda knock down, the wood was gone and we split with no meatfish for grill:frowning_face:.
