My friend, you’ll find the FedEx and the processing, for the shipment is the same or more than you spent on the charters! Well worth it, whenever you get some out of the freezer:wink: I shipped 100 lbs of filets home and am still eating them! You have to slice them in half lengthwise, to make sure they cook through, on the grill! Be prepared for moochers, when you get home! Everyone, likes Flounder:wink: Watch out for 23! If he gets his hooks into you, he’ll never go gigging again! That may be a good thing though. You might be able to buy some used gigging lights for your skiff, Cheap!
Used to clean them nearly that big in a seafood shop I worked at. Nice one.
come on man, hold that flounder out a little further and make it look big
quote:Went the cheap route... Checked them in on the plane... On that flight, I got 3 bags to check. 1 luggage and 2 boxes of fish for free per passenger. My father-in-law and I ended up with 5 boxes (250 lbs) which means we had to pay for only one. Typically that one will cost you $150, but after sweet talking the agent, she knocked it down to $75. So, the reality is, we got to bring home 250 lbs for $75.

Going to post a full report later on…
I pack my cloths in an igloo and fill it with fillets and check it as my baggage for the trip home. My cloths? I take them to the post office and stuff them in one of those “if it fits it ships” boxes. Just be sure to wash them first! I got one box home and it was RIPE!

Cute, don’t they call those chickens.
I think you’re pushing it just to make it look bigger than it is Just kidding of course. That’s a heck of a flounder
But if I’ve got to dress like that in August, I don’t want to go.

In all seriousness who wants to give up the goods on our offshore flounder fishing??? I am dying to Lear. How/where to fish for flounders on our nearshore wrecks and reefs. Nice “butt” J
scdiver, you better able to dive around 200/300 feet[:0] 165 is shallow!

Rap, that’s not even a shooter! Still a nice fish:smiley:
