Fished with Max & Gabe Friday. Great Ocean. Fished south from 120’ to 320’. Caught 2 peanuts, 2 wahoo’s & had a Blue Marlin come half way out the water & crush the short rigger. Made a nice run & shook the hook. The marlin hit at the same time as the wahoo. The boat is now batting 500 on blue marlins, 1 for 2. Both blues have showed up when Gabe’s on the boat??? Must have a stick of gold in his ass or something. Caught a dusky shark trolling also. Cuda’s are thick. We caught 9, all died while being photographed in the boat. Bottom dropped and caught a varity including a nice 20" bsb.

i have a customer fishing since several years evry marlin season with me, different times of the year, and he always get whites and blues the same time period, even if fishing like last year early june, min a month ahead of our blue marlin start, but besides the whites on day 2 he hooked a small 150lbs blue marlin too.
i don’t know how, but with some guys you go out fishing and you know for sure you’ll get the whole 9 yards, year by year.
