We left the dock at 5am and headed straight out towards the south west banks. We knew we had a small window to fish. Ocean was very nice on the way out. Lines in at 8am, missed first 3 fish. Then boated a hoo around 930am. Mixed in a few cudas, and then lost starboard motor due to oil reservoir pump. Had to manually pour oil in the tank to keep it running. Decided it was best to head in, what a good call, as the weather man hit on the dot. After 12pm seas got sloppy. It was a wet ride in with a following sea. Didn’t see any boats out there today except one sporty coming in thru the sea buoys. Hot colors were black/red and black/purple.
