Fished the Striper tournament put on by Big John. Fished 6-10pm. Caught 8 lost a couple. Took til after 8:30 to get our first bite. Still a lot of stacked fish just couldn’t get them to chew until darkness set in.

Rick we were using downriggers pulling a combinations of lures. Long shallow divers pulled all the fish. The lip of one of my $14 lures broke off when fighting a fish in. Not happy considering the lure is less than 2 weeks old. I’ll be contacting the manufacturer. We were running 3 downriggers.
