8 yr old gigging[first trip}

slaya,too much light, too many motors, deck to high, boat to long, generator to big,boat aluminum, to noisy.Now i didnt know you where a professionl archer,and am convinced William
Tell himself would be impressed.I was considering our going because i was quite impressed by your set up,but you jumped the gun and got real defensive.So i’ll not kid with you anymore.I like flounder over gar fish,love catfish,But the flounder aint gonna like you one bit when they meet you.Gigging tip} 3ft of water right behind the breakers best feeding ground on east coast.

thats cool… you just came across as a know it all after i jokingly said that i dont have a problem seeing fish… i know some fellas that shoot flounders… they are in my bowfishing club… ill talk to them tomorow and get some tips… they do quite well also…if i go ill post up some pics…i promise my setup is not as bad as you think… a flounder is still a fish… and unless hes different than every freshwater fish alive he will not be bothered by the kicker motor, generator, lights, or the noise… he will be dead before he realizes… im not talkin @#@# bout your setup because i havent been on it… so dont talk about mine because i guarantee you havent been on a boat like mine, otherwise you wouldnt have the opinions you do…:smiley:

and i dont claim to be a profesional archer by any means… but i can hit a dang fish… flounder are alot bigger target than ALOT of the fish i shoot at… shootin a flounder in 3 feet of water is far from being professional…

just get a rod and reel and then we can all get along:smiley:

Ok Alls well on my end.Kinda reminded me of the WWE for awhile there.Looking forward to the pics.My money is going on the flounder if they are trying to hide at all.Fish are fish but none beats a flounder when he looks like the bottom you are passing over.Your first time should be like mine and others when first starting out.Most people first time has to be shown,and then their not real sure.Now about 1/2 dollar.would be nice to do head shots right ear area{dont wont to mess up any meat now}.Your boat is more than adequate for gathering fish,all fish,salt or fresh,i was just jealous[well kinda}.And my boat did not take offense{its got a built in magnet for flounder.Wish you would try some of those mullets on the fly,tell how that goes.sssh really ,dont shoot no reds[Taboo}

wow i havent gigged since i was your sons age…brings back alot of memories…great catch

SNEAKYR I live in savannah in the moon river. You wouldn’t happen to know any places around there to gig. Cant use the boat so I have to use the kayak.

Sneakyr, bow fishing is alot of fun. Holding a adult bow at full draw for ten to thirty mins? If so, you’re a beast. I shoot a 70 lb bow tech. No way in hell I can hold it for ten minutes even with twin cams. Show us a video of your ten to thirty min draw!

Good haul though! Thats an awesome gigging trip. Bet the little one was stoked!

How old are the pics…Boat registration expired and vehicle tag is a relic…
