s4g’s, we just posted for my friend Capt Jimmy, we generally don’t even weigh fish, we are not in Pauls league. as you know we are meat hunters, don’t even own a fly rod. (should get a comment from Jason). Been fishing with this crew for years, top notch fisherman, they just don’t post because of all the BS!

I just think it’s stupid when people post, “Fished at Edisto Banks and wore them out” and then come back 5 days later and say, “OMG there were so many boats at Edisto Banks today that I couldn’t catch a fish and some guy ran over my lines!!!” Well, no ****!!! It’s called the “pelagic gold rush”!!! Some things are better left off the internet.
Anyway, I can’t help that you don’t understand how the internet changes fishing. Maybe one day, you will. Until then, I’ll just be the asshole and you will have to trust me.

Skinneej, just pulling your chain, s4g says you really are a good guy, I’ll take his word for that, he hasn’t steered me wrong yet, a man is only as good as his word! I like to post areas were we are catching fish to help other fisherman, period! Many don’t get to fish like we do and I’m all for helping out other outdoorsman. stats show that rec fisherman, as well as hunters are a dwindling breed. youth are not raised fishing and hunting like we were. We need all the help we can get to keep the trad going at least for our sake. when we are trolling I rarely catch a fish, I would rather mate and watch my friends reel away, especially if they are rookies! I just got back from a trip with my son and crew were many yellow fins were caught and I boated two, and had more fun then a kid in a video game store just being there!
everbody knows when the temp is right this time of year, and the weather will let the CC fleet get out, there will be a rush to the gold rush regardless of what you and I post! Just the last few days everyone is postin heading towards the 226 this weekend even though you are one of the only ones fishing there. Most posts show fish are being caught AROUND the GThole. Wahoo are caught on the ledge over live bottom up and down the entire coast. Phins are on the same ledges, humps and drops every year. If I catch a boat load on a 2deg temp break or rip between the 226 and ebanks, that don’t mean squat 2 hrs from now or tommorw. Thats were homework comes in. This time of year its all about water temp, here today gone tommorw!
I may not share a gps# with you, but I don’t mind telling anyone Temps, bait, method or depth because they may do the same for others who have not had the opp to get out lately. We need more people involved in orgs like RFA and they are not going to be team players if we don’t help them be part of the Team.
WE really need to get togeather before you head to that other country in south Fla. we can dive and fish my #s which are top secret to people who don’t fish. Ed.
