9-12 flat seas, bottom fising and diving

Decided to head way north to find some better vis than reported down south. Made great time on a flat ocean. Bottom fishing was really productive. Everyone pulling triggers, black Sea bass and bliners in 2 at a time. started in 70 feet on the cannon wreck but no grouper around. Always a great dive there anyway. Ended up in 110’ where we finally find the Gags, scamps, and a nice hog. vis about 25-30’ way north. No thermocline at all.

That’s a HOG!! Dang, your head would fit in it’s mouth [:0]

Would you mind if I shared this picture on another forum, who think FL has big hogfish? I’ll give you full credit for the photo. Won’t pretend I caught it in Demetre Park or anything like that.

Let them think an 18" fish is a monster…

I won’t share it without permission :sunglasses:

This is a good stringer of FL hogfish…your one fish would make 12 of these
