Headed out early to try our hand at some high speed wahoo action. Made it to SW Banks in no time as the ocean was as flat as can be. Fished hard for 2 hours with no knockdowns. Found an AWESOME rip with a 4 degree temp break and a solid weedline. We proceeded to… get 2 slingers and that was it lol.
Went bottom fishing and loaded up on trigs, jumbo seabass, and a couple of gags that fell victim to the ol 3 way swivel rig. Ran back in at 50mph on a glassy ocean. An awesome day for sure.
Ocean was perfect and didn’t see another boat the entire day.
