9-22-15 Started out as a paddling day only took one rod didn’t count on catching any fish ? just to keep my skinny shoulders in shape

8am back by 11am

What a good fishing Day ? overcast sky, 9am low tide in/out with tide, Rising barometer, water was very dirty in one foot of water couldn’t see the bottom and water temp was 79 degrees ? I did have to hide out of the wind

On the way out + in I dragged a Z-Man 4 inch Houdini on a Flutter hook caught 3 small trout each way

Saw three very active/happy/eating Red Fish Schools they were shoulder to shoulder zooming around together ? first thing I put my Stickit in and cast right into the middle of the school caught three 24 to 32 inches ? they didn’t even spook

Moved to another school only about 50 yards away and did the same thing

All caught on Z-Man paddle tail 4 inch Houdini on a #4 Flutter hook + released in good shape

Nice healthy looking red. I notice you seem to like those flutter hooks. I have only tried them a few times and have never caught anything with them. I know its not the hook but rather the artificial. May have to try them again. Have you/do you use the Zman trigger hooks?

I like the Z-Man trigger hooks work well but I am always sticking myself

Mostly use the Gamakatsu flutter hooks #4 or #5 1/8 ounce

15lbs power pro yellow braid + 20lbs leader

I like the weed less hooks fishing from my kayak less break offs from oysters beds
