Got out sunrise on Sunday, lots of mullet same place as before, point of SI. Went past the flotilla of boats near Sumter, inside of N Jetty, pretty decent swells. Fished a bit on the inside, moved to the outside.
Nothing really to speak off.
Was going to head out ti capers, but it was a bit bumpy.
Decided to head in to catch some football but hit the Sumter spot with my last couple of mullet and it was shark city again. This tarpon fishing results in a lot of sharks for sure. Stumpknocker - since i lost my anchor last week I used that one i bought of you a year or so ago! I didnt realize that the anchor ring acts as a release mechanism as it slides down the anchor to the base if needed, worked great.
Getting better at handling the sharks tho i still dont want them in the boat with me. Nice school of dolphins followed me for a while, still love seeing that. Hope y’all had more real fish than I did.
