I hit the Wando at 630 this am and picked up enough finger mullet in two casts to last all day. Headed to the first spot and had reds blowing up on my yozuri top water, but no hookups. I had to stop with top water due to a crazy backlash. I had cut mullet sitting on the bottom and the reds ate it like it was candy. My wife called me and said they were on the way to the landing (always happens when the fishing is hot.) Picked them up and headed out for a boat ride since the 20 month old was not in a mood to stay in one place. We did stop along the way and I put on a small hook and let my 4 year old catch some bait stealers. She had a blast catching. It was a great day on the water with the family.
