9-30 through 10-4

Hit Bulls bay Sunday afternoon. Huge shrimp, just not many of them. Decided to run up to muddy bay. Came out of the creek, and went straight for the lighthouse. As soon as we left the channel, we set poles directly toward the lighthouse. Decent numbers that kept getting better as the tide got lower. Coolered with mostly Mediums, with smalls and larges mixed in. Monday night, same thing. Coolered again. Decided to try Bull’s again Tuesday. Still huge shrimp, just not the numbers we wanted. Headed back to muddy, tried a different set-up, missed it completely. Probably 1/3 cooler medium to small. Back to Bull’s on Wednesday, same result. Went back on Bull’s Wednesday evening for 2nd half of outgoing… NADA! Spent 2 hours stuck in the mud before heading back and calling it a week. Hopefully we’ll get in a day trip before seasons end. If not, looking forward to next year!

Thanks for posting, from another long-driver. Nice to have some insight when it takes a while to get there.

I’m with you on that John. Its nice to have an idea what is going on when you have 6 plus hours drive time there and back.

Upstate sounds like you did pretty good. Maybe next trip you can try those #s & get some of them large ones.Good report.
