9/4 low tide red

Sight fished this guy today at low tide. Reds had their backs out of the water. Was 1 for 3 on the fly today!

NikonJedi - thanks for the fly bo! This was on your shrimp pattern

Sight fishing to reds otf during a low tide is awesome! The preferred method for me! Only if I had my own flats boat, I’d be out there all the time! So I always gotta rely on my buddies to take me out. In the meantime, I spend all my time on the high tide flats.
Nice fish!

I told ya they would work  Now I gotta go fishin with ya sometime

They work good Nikon! Lets go! I had a fish in sight, put the fly within 12", watched him follow, strip, he followed, strip, he eats(!), I strip strike - right out of his mouth d’oh! It was so cool to see though  O yea, the fish above was 22". I pulled a 28"er out on conventional tackle
