OH Yeah! Hit the Wando this morning and then another undisclosed location this afternoon. The first pics are HokieFlyGuy proving that you can stand in a Tarpon 140! The rest are from another spot, all different fish! Hokie should have a few others to post. All fish on live mullet, carolina rigged on the bottom during the falling tide.

Yes but what you don’t see in that fly fishing pic on the Tarpon 140 “Beamerball” is the boat wake nailing me from behind and dropping me on my a$$ while I’m trying to cast to a pod of reds. My feet are not happy tonight, but I guess everyone falls over at some point. I can in fact throw a fly from that boat though while standing…
Dolphin D, thanks a million for today, one of my top 3 days fishing fresh or salt hands down. Totally awesome, I’ve always wanted to catch a “big” red and you had me on it in 10 minutes literally, dragging my ass all over the place for a sweet sleigh ride. I look forward to fishing with you on Mars again, there’s big fish on that planet, and if I don’t see you there I hope I’ll have it all to myself! Your next bar tab is on me, and since you showed me one of your special spots (I’m assuming!) you are always welcome for a tour of my creek loaded with trout I keep talking about. You would probably show me how to fish it better than I can already. Also, free fly fishing lessons for you as well, I’m sure Scotty D has offered this, but as of yesterday he can’t seem to find any reds like you can, haha! Scotty, our flats trip was fantastic as well, I still haven’t thanked you yet in public, and it was well worth its weight in gold. You’re welcome to yak on my creek any time you would like, just ask. I learned a ton from you and greatly look forward to next time, whether it be fishing or saddled up on a barstool. (I’m already tying more crab flies, while downing frost dawgs.)

I’m glad you’re enjoying that Tarpon 140. I told you that it attracted fish slime the night you picked it up. I’m still fishing the Freedom 15, but still only getting out on Saturday or Sunday.
Give me a shout if you can get away on a weekend for some fishing.
