Bob,
Just a reminder here. If this is used on a small boat and the hold down bracket is used; coast guard regs require the boat to have a fire extinguisher.
It would be the same as a built in tank since it could not be immediately removed in an emergency. Wouldn’t want one of our members to get a nasty ticket for not knowing.

I always have carried an extinguisher on my boats, whether the tanks have been secured or not. Luckily, never had to use one.
