I just wonder if the $350,000 they had to cough up for knocking off teams ranked outside the top 10 is worth it? In the moment it probably seemed like a good idea, but the next one will cost them a whopping half a million, , ,if there is a next one.

$350k is pocket change to any SEC team really. The amount of money coming in to these schools is sickening. I doubt that happens again this season though. I think keeping fans involved is worth more than the money. I remember tearing goal posts down when i was there. then they bought the posts that lower right after the game is over.
It’s a stupid rule. I get trying to ensure the safety of everyone but dang, its sports. No other conference does such a thing.
