9mm Ammo

So I broke down and went deep today and got a new Sig P226 (9mm) with the tactical STL-900L light/laser sight and holster. This setup is totally AWESOME!

Could only come up with one box of Magtech (9mm Luger) ammo for target shooting. Also one box of Hornady with the ■■■■■■■■ bullet for defensive mode.

Anyway, does anyone know where to get some target/sporting rounds right now??

Bought mine at Ace Hardware in Augusta today. Nobody around here has any 9mm tho. I could have bought a good bit a week or two ago but was not sure if I was gonna get the 9 or 40. Go figure!

Was in Wally world and all they had was a little bit of .40 I believe that was the lowest I’ve ever seen there ammo selection.

I went to Sportsman’s Warehouse tonight and there was not one single box of 9mm ammo. This really sucks!!!You would think the ammo makers would ramp up production to keep up with demand but I guess everyone is way too nervous about Obama’s agenda.

SImple case of “Supply vs Demand” I believe.

Instead of folks buying a box or two, they are getting a case or two or more when they could. I don’t blame em!

Got to love our Gov’t.

GOOD NEWS!! I went by PSA this afternoon and they had plenty of 9mm ammo over by the range desk at 12.99 per box limit 5 boxes per person.

find a buddy who reloads. I’m sure you at least know someone that knows someone…church, neighbors whatever. That’s the most reliable source I’ve been able to find recently. Much better prices typicaly than 13.99 a box for 9mm fmj’s. That’s rediculous.

bit of a trip but if you find yourself in florida go to gander mountain in north jacksonville they have plenty of handgun ammo of multiple calibers.

I saw plenty of 9mm ammo yesterday at PSA for about $18 box/50. Order ammo online… You can save a lot of money that way…

Hey Skinnij… I found 3 boxes of cci stingers .22lr in Wally World this past weekend!!! I was nice and let some dude have one of the boxes. Hard to believe it’s been 14 months with little to no .22lr unless you want to pay out of this world prices for it.

I have been able to get a good bit of .9mm and .40 over the last few months at good prices. .410 is a bit hard to get.

I’ll wager we’ll never see low ammunition prices again in our lifetime.:question:

Dicks in Summerville had plenty of 9 today. Didn’t notice the price. They also had a bunch of 223.
