a "Chili" lunch

Decided to make some chili today…donnie called it “light my butt” chili:imp:…ok…so I threw in a few hot things…and wasnt sur eif that was enough so added a few more…came out wonderful…but was a little spicy…also made mexican cornbread to go with it(use cream corn,cheese,and jala. and other peppers diced real small in it) comes out a little bit moister than regular…heres a few pics and the finished product…

simmering with some diced tomatoes and seasonings

add red kidney and mexican chili beans at this point, more diced tomatoes,tomato sauce and simmer some more…

so my mouth is watering, thank you. I love some good chili on a very cold night. I love crumbled Ritz crackers in my chili though. (cornbread in soup)

I actually made some rice…because im weird and like my chili(and everything else) on rice:smiley:

Thanks for the welcome. I will definitely posts some of my specialties-I’m excited about sharing them with everyone. I’ll have to figure out how to posts pictures.
