“Carpe Diem” does not mean “Fish of the Day”…
jedi,
just look at the pics and you can figure out where . NICE catch guys!
…but it’s a flat bottom!
That is a beautiful fishing yak setup. Trolling motor is a nice touch too. Do you have a sounder on it?
Great fish.

Nice fish guys,
Looks like the Wilderness Systems pro team. Were you guys using live bait or plastics? Nice rigs, I have a Tarpon 140 and seeing yaks prepped up like that gives me some ideas. Thanks for the pictures.
Njedi, I’ll give u a buzz next time i can get out…
no sounder just yet, but dd gave me some good ideas for the setup.
all fish where caught on live finger mullet or big cut mullet.
I like the kayak, what do you not have on it? I want one
the kayak is pretty sweet. nice fish also.
How big was that trout in the first picture??? Looks like a monster! Wish I could of gotten out with you guys, ya’ll caught some good fish. Might go out on thursday, if anyone wants to go.

I saw you guys out there by Virginia Ave. I was in the jon boat in the creek mouth. My mom and her husband were in town and I was trying to put her on a redfish. Instead she lands a 20" flounder, and that’s pretty much all we did all day except when we were marauded by large blues (caught one around 3 lbs and lost another boatside that was more like 5 lbs.) They were biting LARGE menhaden in half in one bite.
I didn’t notice the TM on your yak until I saw you repositioning. That thing will cook!
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling?
been out of town, getting ready to go back out of town…
thanks i love the boat, even jumped out to see how hard it would be to get back in,( while i had someone w/ me). it was super easy, even jumped out again… dd the trout was 4.5lbs on boga, we thought it was a red at 1st. and the funny thing is, the red and the trout hit at the exact same time, we figured they must have been feeding together, thank-God for the circle hooks. Jerms, i think i did see ya, should of hollered, yall did a lot better than us, 1blue and a couple of I guess the call them dogfish:dizzy_face:.the trolling motor did work better than expected w/ both boats, we just hooked his paddle strap to mine,w/ t.motor in between us and i was able to steer us fine with my rudder sys., much faster than we could have paddled… can’t wait to get a min. to get back out.
Alright… Enough already… Stop catching all my fish… Good thing we discovered that spot. Too bad the docks not mine anymore:angry:. You owe me a new pair of Shoes for retrieving your pflueger and bionix. By the way was that when you were testing the yak to see if you could get back in? [:0] Hope it still works. By the way I need to show you another spot close by. All over 35" and 13lbs… Nice fish.
