A good day on the water

I took a friend of mine fishing today, and today is the first time I have seen him since high school…oh, about 22 years or so. He caught his first trout today, which was 3lbs. We caught fish, laughed, and had a good time. The river was almost too calm today, and the sun was RRRROOOASTING without a breeze.

That’s what fishing is about…having a good time catching fish or not…catching makes it even better though. Glad you got to spend time with your friend especially. We never know what tommorow brings…
