A-Team left the Remley’s Landing at 4:00 yesterday morning. trolling at the ledge by 6:30 near the 226 Hole. caught 12 dolphin, biggest was 17 pounds. also got a nice wahoo 50+ pounds. hooked up on a large blue marlin; took half the line off a Penn International 30T in the minute fight, then broke the leader half way up. very pretty fish, got quite a few nice jumps before he left. right after the blue broke off spotted a frigate, rare site up here in SC, assumed he was possibly tailing the blue. back to the landing around 5:15.
all in all, pretty nice day. a tad rough on the way out but real slick on the way in. ran about 32 knots all the way in.
must have been a nice day for all, spotted 21 boats at one time late in the day at the ledge. cant wait til next time.
