Headed out at 6:30, stopped at one of the wrecks to jig some bait. Got a couple dozen then some toothy critters showed up stripping the rigs and putting the bait in panic mode so we left. Put lines in at 9:30, lots of scattered grass and flyers but only one bite which parted the line.
Dropped on the bottom at 11, Zack pulled up a nice 26" scamp on the first pass, then a 25" on the second, then a 20+" beeliner. He then hooked up a 15" bsb, got him about 15ft off the bottom and got hit by a freight train, down into the rocks. We put it in the rod holder and locked the drag, it anchored the boat off and 5 min later it came loose. We got the bsb back looking like this.
Went back trolling and picked up 5 nice dolphin.
found this on the way in, it was full of cigar minnows and had a school of small dolphin around it.
If he failed to comply with his side of the contract does that not mean the boat is “stolen”?
Have you called the Police and pressed charges? If that is your boat floating offshore maybe nice to have as evidence for the case. Probably not worth them getting it at this point though.
Sorry man.
Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

You mean the Mako you completely rebuilt??
Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.
Depending on the value if it was “contractual” it would be civil and the police would adv to handle it between yourself. Depending on the value it may turn criminal after pursuit is taken in a civil court.
Good luck, just my $0.02 sorry to steal the thread …
Should of towed that boat in, if its floating somethings good about it

Bragging may not bring happiness,

Heard this boat was at the sw banks two weeks ago.

Wait... This can't be possible. Everyone knows that a 19' boat without a seasoned operator, EPIRB, SPOT, PLB, "Ditch Bag", glowsticks, 4 cans of SPAM, and self-dispensing roll of toilet paper, will definitely sink if it is that far offshore. I actually heard it here on CF.com...
Skinneej, you can’t take the smartass award before noon, hahaha
