Abbapoola Creek?

How skinny does Abbapoola Creek get at low tide? For this weekend it looks like a +0.1 is as low as it may get.

My old man is coming to visit this weekend and rented a place off of VRBO on Abbapoola Creek with a dock. Doubt we’ll head over there by boat, but in case we decide to I’m just wondering how much water I’d have. The lady said not much water at low tide, but I see some big boats (small sporty) on lift in the pictures and docks all over the creek. It looks to be 0.5-0.75 of a mile before the bridge. I have a 17’ Sea Hunt so really wouldn’t need a whole lot to be able to motor in/out.

Not sure what the VRBO is but if you are going to just before the bridge on Abbapoola creek it doable. Just look at google maps and take note of the sand bars. It does get skinny so just be careful.

Most places with a dock are accessible, if only at mid-high tide; depending on how far up you are. Did not realize that there were VRBO places on the creek…

OOPS, vrbo.com is a vacation rental website for houses, condos etc…

Vacation Rental By Owner, bypass the middle man rental agent and can find some good deals every now and then. Kudos to you on the good info for the OP

Thanks for the info. The place he found was just a guest house type deal with access to the dock, not an entire property for rent. We ended up not going down that way by boat. But from what I saw while I was there at mid tide looked to be enough water.

VRBO is a great place to find vacation rentals. We’ve used that site many times to find places in FL and SC.
