Figuring it is about that time for a meetup and eager to get in the water. Is there anyone on this site that is capable of creating a website with a calender that we can post official meetups and also allow people to create their own trips for others to go to. Maybe attach it to a club meetup website. I will help with cost as I am sure many others on here for the convenience of it. My schedule is very flexible but I can’t plan with any certainty if something comes up. Would like more options to go out even if it is just with one or two people as I end up being more of a last minute fisherman.

I live at rocks pond campground. I might be able to help y’all out if you decide to come this way. It has a good marina and boat ramps to put in at. Let me know. And yes rocks pond is on the outskirts of eutawville. The shellcracker have been biting good lately.

My knowledge of freshwater fishing is worse that that of salt. I may just come and paddle around and watch.

I’ll bring a thing of crickets, a couple o’ worms…freshwater much simpler than saltwater for me. Lot less technique more patience and luck.
Now bass fishing - that is another story. Want to catch a shellcracker, bluegill, or catfish? I can handle that

I see chat about it but I haven’t seen where and when anywhere for the meet up. How does this Sunday the 29th sound for everyone? If there is another date let me know and I will be sure to make it there. Haven’t used fresh water tackle in a looonnng time. I like the bass fishing but the rest of them I think are just stupid fish. Don’t have the personality of salt water fish and clueless as a democrat.
Murrayfisherman, good to find you. I messed with it and ended up not worrying about it since I wasn’t going anywhere that I really needed it. Upgraded mid season last year to a new yak. I liked that one but it was a wet ride.
