College football is such an emotional sport, the outcome usually boils down to one or two huge momentum swinging plays. Personally I would have liked it had the call been touchdown for NC state. Not because Iâm a Carolina fan, but I think the game would have remained interesting and a close battle. Instead, State turned the ball over a few plays later and the wind was knocked out of them from that point forward. Clemson left them in the taillights after that play. It was a very entertaining game up to that point.
I donât like Alabama or Texas A&M, but I was on the edge of my seat for that one!
What are you saying crm? That the Acc faked it out espn didnât show all the angles.
I know they did not show that angle last night.
Maybe since espn is the tv arm of the sec, they didnât show it to create controversy.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldnât go so far as to call a dog filthy but theyâre definitely dirty. But, a dogâs got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Yeah not sure why they only showed an overhead view where his body blocked the view of the step in question and the other where the NC state guyâs helmet (who was standing on the sideline) blocked the step in question as well.

You just made my brain explode...lol..just trying to get cussed out by the classy Clemson fans on this site. Makes me lol that they take my smart butt comments seriously.
That was a fun game to watch. NC shot themselves in the foot time and time again with poor execution. Their penalties were well-deserved, and HE STEPPED OUT OF BOUNDS. Give them that touchdown and they still lose.
ACC coordinator of officials Doug Rhoads said Friday that, after further review, âit is not clearâ whether NC State receiver Bryan Underwood stepped out of bounds Thursday night in a controversial call that changed the momentum of the game in Clemsonâs 26-14 win at NC State.
âOur office has viewed all available angles, each numerous times, in slow motion and freeze frame. It is not clear, in reviewing all angles, whether the runner stepped out of bounds or avoided any contact with the sideline. We recognize that within the number of images and angles viewed, some look like he did not step out of bounds while one looks like he did step out of bounds. In the end, this cannot be resolved beyond all doubt.â
As Salty pointed out, if the whistle had blown stopping the play (although no one on the field stopped). It is not reviewable after it is blown dead.
