The folks are down and I’ve managed to get my dad on some sharks at Folly and some rays at Sullivan’s the last couple days. I’m from Cola so I’m not overly familiar with access around here, he wants to get on some fish from the bank up in the marsh, where is some decent access? Thanks in advance

Bank fishing and marsh do not go together unless you want to be buried in pluff mud up to your neck. You need a boat for that.

Folly Pier, Crosby’s Seafood docks, Bowen’s Island dock are about it. I do not know what they charge.

If your not dead set on Folly, James Island had a couple of places too. There is the JI County Park fishing pier on the Stono $1 per person to get into the park and Sunset park which is on the harbor side and is free, I’ve caught fish at both spots.
We ended up and headed to JI park. My first time there and I’ll definitely be back. Really nice park! Fishing was slow, had a couple bites, had something break off a jig, and caught 1 tiny toadfish. Still a great time out with the folks, thanks for the help!
