I have a ACR 406 MHz EPRIB that requires battery replacement after five years. ACR wants $350 plus shipping to replace the battery. They claim the software will get updated with the battery replacement. There attitude is take it or leave. Has anybody out there come across another QUALIFIED option on battery replacement with a reasonable price?
nope.If the unit has some age,you may consider a new one for around 400.

Air Sea and Safety just did mine. It was $371 for everything. It was my first battery change. They recommend replacing by the second time it needs a service at 10 years old.
