Had a great group of guys from Tennessee out today. We went straight out towards 226 hole, dropped lines in 140 feet and picked up a nice wahoo right away on the shotgun. Eased out to 250 feet, jumped off a couple sails and picked up another wahoo. Had a great day of summer fishing, ended going 2/4 on sails, saw another one that wouldn’t bite, 2/3 on wahoo, lost one at the boat, 2 dolphin, and the standard 2 barracudas. We never got deeper than 300 feet, most of the bites were in 240 feet, lots of current.
Not fishing this weekend unless I get a late call, not booked until next Saturday. Seas were 2 to 4 feet with a brisk SW wind at about 15 knots, still pretty good fishing. Lots of tourney boats out there catching a bunch of sails.
