Need you opinions. I am adding a T-Top with electronics box to my boat. Torn between moving my Lowrance Hook 9 from the console to the electronics box. What do you guys recommend?

just added a t-top to my boat…opted not to get the box as I liked the Lowrance on the console ……the radio I left in the glove box for protection…
You’ll get tired of looking up constantly to read your unit.
And I can’t imagine trying to make adjustments to it while under way with it in the E-box.
The only electronics I put up there are the Back-up VHF radio.

all electronics boxes end up being a place for a wet pack of cigarettes, some old rusted lures, a rusted filet knife and a dead vhf radio. 90% of the boats I work on with electronic boxes aren’t used as such. In addition, the extra weight of electronic boxes add to the fatigue of the t-top, leading to cracks,
