Adjustable Spanner Wrench - Trim & Tilt Cylinder

Does anyone know if an adjustable spanner wrench will work on trim and tilt cylinders.

Trying to service trim and tilt on a Honda 90 and dont want to wait for the Honda wrench(es).

If it has been in saltwater my experience has been no. All you will do is bust your knuckles. The aftermarket wrenches on Ebay were also a no go for me. I wrung off the pins the first try with a cheater bar. There is a reason the factory wrenches are so expensive, and even those will break. Those caps can get frozen in there pretty good.

Pin punch and a hammer is how i get them loose. Need to wrap cylinder and put in a vise where you can get good access.

If it fly’s, floats, or, friggs, rent it!

Yeah confirmed with above. I made my own our of starboard and bolts and it just bent the bolts.
